Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Patrick Roy's iconic number 33 is displayed on the front of his signed and photo-matched 1990-91 Montreal Canadiens Ferland game-used blocker. St. Patrick placed a bold blue marker autograph on the top inside edge of the blocker, which is photo-matched to Roy's 1991-92 O-Pee-Chee All-Star hockey card by the big black mark going down to the left #3 in the middle of the blocker, which displays loads of black puck marks. The card also shows the missing blue canvas material on the upper left corner as well as the round sticker remnant to the the right of the word "professional" on the bottom right portion of the blocker. Part of the proceeds of the sale of this item will go towards the "Fond d'etudes des Remparts de Quebec". Comes with Patrick Roy's signed LOA. Glove on the inside edge has nice game wear on its hole-free palm with blue paint transfer marks and reddish tinge from stick and/or goalpost paint.
