Big lot of a dozen sticks from Dennis Polonich’s personal collection includes a Mikka Kiprusoff signed 2006 Vezina & Jennings Trophies commemorative stick that comes with its own LOA. The Calgary Flames goalie has signed in silver paint pen on the front of the heel of this beauty that displays awesome artwork on the blade and paddle. Limited edition “293/400” is written low on the handle.
The entire lot also comes with an LOA signed by Dennis Polonich.
Lanny McDonald has signed below his handwritten “Word Hard, Play Hard and Have Fun!” black marker notation to the right of the Hockey Hall of Fame logo on the blade of a stick with “Lanny McDonald #9 Hall of Fame Great” on one side of the shaft and Lanny’s career totals on the other side;
Jarret Stoll has signed “To Dennis, All the Best!” with his #16 in black marker on the bare blade of a Koho Revolution stick with “Stoll” stamped on the shaft;
Rob Niedermayer has signed, “To Polo, All the best” in black marker on the blade of a Sher-Wood S.O.P. 9950 with “Niedermayer 44” stamped on the shaft;
Sheldon Brookbank has signed with his number 21 in black maker low on the shaft of his Easton SE16 game-used stick with his original tape jobs on the blade and knob and “Brookbank 21” printed on the shaft;
HOFers Bryan Trottier and Steve Shutt and Habs enforcer Chris Nilan are among the 14 black marker autographs on the lower shaft and bare blade of a multi-signed Oldtimers’ Hockey Challenge stick;
Alex Tanguay has signed with his number 40 in silver paint pen on the blade of a Calgary Flames souvernir stick;
“Aulin” stamped on the shaft of a Sher-Wood S.O.P. 5030 signed “To: Polo, Thanks for your support!”;
Warrior AK Twenty Seven signed game-used stick with “Brody” printed on the shaft has a black marker autograph with the number 21 at the bottom of the shaft. Original tape jobs remain on the blade and knob, which has number 21 written on it;
“Rusty” shows below the white tape knob on the shaft a Nike Bauer One90 game-used stick with a white tape job on the blade;
Igor Kravchuk has signed with his #29 in black marker on the now-bare blade of his Koho Revolution game-used stick. “Kravchuk” is stamped on the shaft and a well-worn white tape job remainson the knob. There are white tape remnants on the blade;
Koho ABS CAP two-piece gamer is signed “To Dennis” on the Easton wood blade insert with a black tape job towards the toe. White tape job on the knob has “25” handwritten in black marker.
