Bobby Hull is among the 12 members of the 1977-78 WHA Avco Cup champion Winnipeg Jets whose autographs appear along one side of the shaft of defenceman Kim Clackson’s game-used stick. Hull has signed in black marker low on the shaft of Clackson’s Northland gamer with a 6423 registered pattern number stamp on either side and “Clackson” higher up the shaft. Ulf Nilsson, who led the Jets in assists with 89 and points with 126, has signed below the black, silver and gray tape at the bottom of the shaft. Others who have signed in a variety of inks include Lindstrom, Sullivan, Sjoberg, Kryskow, Powis, Lesuk, Bromley, Mattsson and Davis. Clackson’s tape jobs remain on the knob and most of the blade, the latter of which is missing a few rows towards the heel. Lots of game use with black marks on the blade and shaft, which also displays some red goalpost paint transfer. The bottom edge of the tape job has worn through on the blade which has a few rough spots. Comes with Dennis Polonich’s signed LOA.
