Vintage early-1970s Flin Flon Bombers sterling silver ring and team jacket are highlights of Dennis Polonich's memorabilia from his junior hockey team. The Manitoba-based Bombers' logo appears in enamel paint on the tableau of the size 10 ring. Button-front hooded winter coat with Polo's number "14" embroidered on the left sleeve has a 1971-72 Bombers crest sewn on the left breast. Among the three Flin Flon Bombers pucks included are the one Polo scored his first goal with marked with a 1 on the face. Comes with Dennis Polonich's signed LOA. Ring is marked “CMC Ster” inside the band;
Six photos include a 1972-73 Bombers 8x10 team photo and an 8x10 of Polonich posed on ice in his Bombers uniform, along with four smaller photos of Polo in his junior days;
July 1971 Bombers training camp invitation letter to Polo signed by manager-coach Pat Ginnell;
Hockey player trophy stands just under 8” tall with “Flin Flon Bombers, Eastern Semi Finalists, 1972 Dennis Polonich” engraved on the gold-coloured plaque on the base.
Bombers mesh-back ballcap is included. Pale blue 1972-73 Bombers lightweight jacket was used for painting at some point and is covered with paint stains.
