Red Wings owner Bruce A. Norris presented exquisite Rolex watches to Dennis Polonich and the rest of the 1973-74 London Lions in recognition of the U.K.-based team's valiant efforts to establish a North American pro hockey foothold in Europe. A sensational timepiece in working order, Polonich's Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Model 1500/OB wristwatch is engraved "London Lions 1973-74 From B.A. Norris" on the backplate. This elegant watch with a smooth bezel and grey dial displays proud wear in the form of scratches on its stainless steel surface and 19mm Oyster bracelet. It comes with its original Rolex papers, service records and Dennis Polonich's signed LOA, which states that every member of the Lions received a watch from Norris, who was inducted into the HOF as a builder in 1969 and died in 1986. Comes with a Rolex box that is not original to the watch, which has Rolex serial number 3417654.
