The 9th NHL All-Star Game saw the Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings hold off a team of All Stars 3-1, led by two points each from Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay. Terry Sawchuk, who'd helped Detroit win the Cup the previous spring, had subsequently been traded to the Boston Bruins, and was in goal for the All Stars facing his old teammates for the first time. This game also marked the NHL debuts of future Hall of Famers Norm Ullman and Johnny Bucyk, both with the Red Wings. On top of that, this was Maurice Richard's first appearance since his suspension the previous season that led to the infamous "Richard Riot". The game program is in sharp EX/NM condition, with a few markings on the line-up page.
