Known as the original Madhouse on Madison, the old Chicago Stadium housed a massive pipe organ, considered the largest ever made and undoubtedly the loudest! Offered here is a framed part of the massive pipe organ described as a "draw stop jumper" on the back of the 30" x 12" frame. Two wooden slats are mounted side by side with large screws at the top and bottom, with detailed handwritten notations of the various instruments on the left side and intricate circuitry on the right. The 3,663-pipe organ was played at FDR's inaugural ball in 1933! A fascinating piece of history that contributed to the boisterous atmosphere of countless Black Hawks and Bulls games during its history.
