Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012

Spanning three decades and featuring the signatures of four legendary hockey figures, these Maple Leaf documents all deal with interesting expenses for which their signers were reimbursed. Joe Primeau's big flowing fountain pen signature accompanies a meal money note regarding a trip to New York in November of 1935, while Frank Selke's bold signature (except for a weak "J" initial) is beneath detailed expenses which included a trip to Ottawa (Sept/38) to attend King Clancy's father's funeral and a phone call to Ching Johnson in Parry Sound. Conn Smythe (big bold fountain pen sig) claimed for attending NHL meetings in Montreal (Sept/45) and a "Frank M. Clancy" ballpoint signature regards gas expenses to Pembroke and Ottawa in Nov/58. Neat stuff and great sigs!
