Michel Goulet played his first professional season with the Birmingham Bulls of the WHA during the 1978-79 season in which he scored 28 goals and 58 points. An awesome goal-scorer during his 11 seasons with Quebec, left winger Michel Goulet's string of seven consecutive 40-plus goal seasons included four straight 50-or-more goal seasons. This is Goulet's rookie uniform, a white mesh affair worn during 1978-79. Tagged in the neck by Russell Athletic in size "L" for large, the shirt is all rubberized except for the tackle twill letters forming "Goulet" that have been applied to a mesh plate above the two-tone rubber number "9" on the back. Heavy game wear includes numerous stick marks and board burns on the front and arms with more of the same on the back. An important and historic shirt from the dawn of a 500-goal and Hall-of-Fame career!
