Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Great wood gamer was used by hulking center Keith Primeau. A high-scoring junior star, Primeau had to get in line behind Steve Yzerman and Sergei Fedorov for playing time in the middle when he made his debut with Detroit. After playing out of position on the wing with the Red Wings, Primeau returned to center when he was traded to Hartford in 1996. He went on to become a natural leader with the Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes, and on with the Philadelphia Flyers. Nicely worn red grip tape covers Keith's white tape job on the butt end of his Victoriaville 9050 wood gamer with "Primeau 3.0" stamped on the shaft. His black bulldog tape is intact on the blade of this superb gamer which exhibits really nice game use.
