Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
White Pittsburgh home gamer worn by defenseman Jeff Norton during the 2000-01 season features the modernized Penguins logo used from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s before it was ultimately abandoned for a return to the team’s traditional crest. The Penguins LOA which accompanies the jersey states that it was from the team’s first set of the season used for pre-season and regular season games. Norton had 12 points in 32 games with the Penguins before he was traded to San Jose. Nice game use appears in the form of dried bloodstains on the upper right sleeve and stick marks across the front of the jersey. Size 54 and CCM fly tags remain in the neck and the jersey’s fight strap is intact.
