Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Nice game wear to report here on Chad Kilger's Edmonton Oilers home jersey from the team's first set of the 2000-01 season. Kilger had 7 points in 34 games for the Oilers when he was traded to Montreal on December 18, 2000 in the deal that sent the late Sergei Zholtok to Edmonton. A team repair on the right elbow is overwhelmed by unrepaired nicks and cuts on the back of both sleeves. Red paint transfer on the left elbow, soiling from wear at both cuffs and stick marks on the left side of the upper back offer more evidence of game use, as well as a long stick mark along the front tail. "Elite Sportswear Edmonton Oilers Set #1 00/01" patch is sewn inside the rear hem. Elite, CCM and size 58 fly tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is intact.
