A few Hall of Famer signatures are included in this lot featuring 1,000 signed magazine covers and pages displaying a wide variety of hockey pictures, mostly from the 1970s and with most with vintage autographs. Newly-minted HOFer Dino Ciccarelli (7), Bill Barber (4) and Norm Ullman (3) have each signed multiple photos with individual shots signed by Dave Keon, Larry Robinson, Marcel Dionne, Bryan Trottier, Ron Francis, Joe Mullen, Cam Neely, Lanny McDonald and Emile Francis. Phil Esposito has signed along with Peter Mahovlich on one page of a section removed from a Summit Series book which also features a photo signed by Ron Ellis on another page. Peter Forsberg has signed an October 2003 ESPN The Magazine cover while signed pictures of other potential future HOFers such as Gilmour, Modano, Chelios & Nieuwendyk are also included. Steve Shutt has signed a photo along with late Canadiens defenseman Bill Nyrop, whose autograph appears on two other magazine pages. Paul Henderson’s ballpoint signature graces a picture of 1972 on-ice action in Moscow, among a few signed shots of the Maple Leafs’ Summit Series hero included here. Garry Unger, Gilles Meloche, Ed Westfall, Reggie Leach, Rick MacLeish, Bob Baun, Ken Hodge, Wayne Cashman, Andre Lacroix, Gilles Gilbert, Marc Tardif, Mike Walton, Anders Hedberg, Ulf Nilsson, Lars-Erik Sjoberg, Bob Berry, Bob Nystrom, Pierre Larouche, Guy Chouinard, Peter McNab, Willi Plett, Harold Snepts, Terry O’Reilly, Glenn “Chico” Resch, Garry Howatt, Gerry Desjardins, Doug Favell, Stan Smyl, Mark and Marty Howe, Brian Sutter, Anton Stastny, Mats Naslund, Mike Liut, Bobby Smith, Kirk Muller, Wendel Clark, Dave Andreychuk, and others have signed pieces here, most of which are covers or pages removed from magazines, though some are smaller cut photos, such as a 3” x 7” strip of a magazine page with individual photos of Buffalo’s French Connection, each of the three shots signed in ballpoint by Rick Martin, HOFer Gilbert Perreault, and Rene Robert, respectively.
