Deceased Hall of Famers Turk Broda, Ted Kennedy, and Harry Watson are among the members of the Toronto Maple Leafs who signed the covers of these two vintage Maple Leaf Gardens programs from early in the 1951-52 season. Fellow HOFer Fern Flaman also signed both programs from Leafs home games against New York on October 20 (signed by 18 plus unidentified signature), and Montreal on October 31 (signed by 17). Rollins, Smith, Sloan, Thomson, Meeker, Gardner, Bolton, Klukay, Mortson, Solinger & Juzda signed both programs. Mackell, who also autographed both programs, signed twice on the bottom of the 86-page Oct. 20 program titled "The Royal Visit" with a photo of the Leafs captain Kennedy greeting Princess Elizabeth during the future Queen's visit to MLG one week earlier. Lewicki also signed the Oct. 20 program while Rudy Migay signed the 84-page program from the Leafs' 1-0 win over Montreal which has a few pencil notations within its pages. Also to note, Gardner's signature on the Oct. 20 program has been retraced and cover has a vertical crease on the right side. Each program has "Beverly Blakely" written in the upper right corner of the page inside the cover and both are complete and intact, featuring team roster lineups in the centerforld.
