Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Great pair of red seats from the Montreal Forum make for a superb display, one that is prized by Canadiens fans and hockey enthusiasts in general. Located behind the Canadiens' goal on the north end of the building at de Maisonneuve, these two seats in the upper half of the reds offered their ticket holders a view up ice from the vantage point of HOF goalies Dryden and Roy for the first and third periods. Better still, it was prime seating to witness famous playoff overtime winners by Lambert, Lemieux and Desjardins! Numbers "17" and "18" in white remain on the wood seat back with section "211" and row "F" added, along with the Habs' famed CH logo on the upper right. These seats are mounted on specially molded legs with the Canadiens logo and the Forum years "1924-1996" along the bottom. An absolute must for any and every hockey collection.
