Incredibly rare and unique Montreal Canadiens team photo depicts Howie Morenz, Georges Vezina and the rest of the members of the 1924 Stanley Cup champions wearing their fabulous "World Globe" uniforms from the 1924-25 season. "Le 'Canadien', Champion du Monde, 1923-24" is written on this magnificent studio photo of the Cup champion Canadiens seated in one row outdoors, with the players' names written along the bottom of the vintage 9" x 14" print. Goaltending legend Vezina is pictured first on the left along with Aurele Joliat, Coth, Boucher, Mantha, Coutu, coach Leo Dandurand, trainer Dufour, Sprague Cleghorn, Odie Cleghorn, Morenz, Robert Joliat, Rene Lafleur and practice goalie Decoste. Displayed in a 10 1/2" x 15 1/2" wood frame, this sensational and historic Montreal Canadiens team photo of the franchise's second Stanley Cup winners remains in excellent crease-free condition. The Canadiens came close to defending their title at the end of the 1924-25 season but ultimately fell to WCHL champions Victoria in the Cup final. A rare treasure that will tempt a broad range of collectors and hockey historians.
