Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010

Veteran defenceman Lyle Odelein wore this Phoenix Coyotes alternate jersey with the NHL 2000 patch on the right breast during the second half of the 1999-2000 season, including the Stanley Cup playoffs. Coyotes general manager Bobby Smith signed a letter of authenticity on team letterhead and the jersey comes with documentation from the NHL/MeiGray Group program. An orange patch with "Official 99/2000-2 Game-Worn Jersey" in white lettering is sewn onto the inner tail and comes with a letter from MeiGray that lists each of the games that the jersey was used in, including three playoff games in Colorado. The fight strap remains, as do the laundry and "PW-0" tags inside the left seam. The Pro Player and size 56 tags remain in the neck.
