Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Bright red New Jersey Devils gamer was worn by Jeff Friesen during preseason games prior to the 2003-04 season. Jeff scored 10 goals the previous spring to help the Devils win their third Stanley Cup in nine years. Koho gamer has a size 56 "Made in Canada" fly tag in the neck that was sewn over in red thread by nameplate stitching. NHL MeiGray 2003-2004 Game-Worn Jersey patch is sewn inside the left rear hem and the fight strap is intact. Marks on the front of the jersey include a diagonal slash through the bottom of the red, black and white Devils crest. Board burns on the back of both sleeves and around the elbows offer further evidence of nice game wear, along with a small chevron-shaped cut below the #12 sewn on the back.
