An original member of the World Hockey Association's Quebec Nordiques, Jacques "Jim" Blain played in 70 games that first year, scoring a single goal and adding ten assists. This is Blain's original 1972-73 Nords uniform, a white durene knit made by Maska with a company tag in the neck beside a washing instructions tag. The tri-color Nordiques crest on the front as well as the single-layer number "5" on the sleeves and two-tone back numeral are in tackle twill and sewn-on. Game use includes a number of stick marks on the front, a few more on the sleeves, a few unrepaired holes and some nice blue board paint transfer. The tie-neck jersey has been hemmed up at the waist by the team trainer will excite WHA game-worn collectors.
