Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Extremely coveted and difficult to "score" are pucks that actually saw game use in the recent Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, with thus a splendid opportunity here. A certificate of authenticity from "Gameday" reveals that this baby was used during the third period of the February 25th women's game between Sweden and Finland. With screened logos both front and back, and with "Official - Sher-Wood - Made in Canada" on the side, the puck does indeed show game use with a couple of light skate slices, nicks and scratches. This one won't cost you $13,000 like one from Canada's men's overtime gold medal game! A definite must for a serious gamer collection.
