Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Spectacular framed photo display captures legendary Russian netminder Vladislav Tretiak in his pose circa the 1970s. Tretiak is still thought to be one of the best of his era and is remembered for his on-ice battles against the great Ken Dryden in the 1972 Summit Series and again during the 1975 New Years Eve game when the Soviets fought the Montreal Canadiens in what is considered the best game ever played. The autograph on this one is simply massive! Housed in a wonderful 36" x 44" wood frame with black matte, the piece is numbered "1/1" and comes with a security hologram from Channel Sports Inc. In excellent condition.
