The bearded gentleman who donated a silver bowl that has become hockey's Holy Grail stars in this fabulous foursome. Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley is of course that gent and the raised images of Lord Stanley and his wife appear on an impressive 2" in diameter presentation medal in toned bronze, with "The Earl of Derby K.G. Guild Mayor of Preston and The Countess of Derby" encircling them. Dated 1902, it is joined by two similar smaller (1-1/4") affairs, also struck to "Commemorate the Celebration of Guild Merchant." "Earl of Derby, Mayor" is on the other, commemorating the 1902 coronation of King Edward VII. Cool!
