The distinctive signature of the legendary Maurice "Rocket" Richard appears in fine blue marker in the middle of his #9 on the back of this dazzling Montreal Canadiens career tribute jersey. Richard originally signed the white and blue twill #9 that has been sewn onto a gorgeous red CCM Habs jersey. "Maurice Richard, 'The Rocket'", is embroidered in white thread onto a red twill nameplate. The back of this great Richard career tribute jersey is covered with his accomplishments detailed in white embroidery, including his NHL career regular season and playoff totals in games, goals, assists and points, as well as his combined season and playoff totals, and his Order of Canada in 1967 and 1999 Canada Walk of Fame. The blue band of the jersey features "NHL All-Star 14 Times" and "Hockey Hall of Fame 1961" to the left of his signed #9. The right side has, "Stanley Cup, 1944, 1946, 1953, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960", listing the eight years that he helped lead the Canadiens to hockey's ultimate championship.
