Silver-colored Easton Synergy composite was wielded by Russian scoring star Ilya Kovalchuk before its blade was broken in half. Kovalchuk posted a career high 52 goals with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2005-06 and matched that total again two years later. Dealt to New Jersey during the 2009-10 campaign, he finished the year with a combined total of 41 goals for his sixth 40-goal season. Long handle features an outer layer of yellow grip tape. Kovalchuk’s original black bulldog tape job remains on the blade with the middle strands holding the now-broken blade together.
