Hall of Fame goalie Grant Fuhr wore this CCM blocker and glove set with the Edmonton Oilers during the 1986-87 season, as well as during his two-game Rendez-Vous 87 stint with the NHL All-Star team against the Soviet national team. Fuhr helped the NHL earn a two-game split in the All-Star series and went on to lead the Oilers to their third Stanley Cup in four seasons in the spring of 1987. A series of over 10 puck marks on the front of the blue-white-and-orange CCM Professional M-GB 1L lefthanded blocker - including three horizontal marks on the upper right - makes for a bulletproof match with photos of Fuhr in action during the unique two-game international All-Star encounter in Quebec City. Grant has signed in black Sharpie on the faded blue leather of the left thumb. Righthanded CCM catching glove in Oilers colours features blue leather pocket and an orange nylon cuff with rigid wrist protection. Fuhr has added his #31 to his black marker signature on the white nylon CCM padding on the back of the glove, which has been style matched in photos from the 1986-87 campaign and Rendez-Vous 87. A signed letter of authenticity accompanies these outstanding game-used Grant Fuhr goalie gloves from the height of his Hall of Fame career.
