One of the founding governors of the NHL, T. P. (Tommy) Gorman was a part of seven Stanley Cup championships, managing four different teams, including the Canadiens. This October 26, 1943 one-page letter on "Club de Hockey Canadien Inc." letterhead is from his time with the Habs and was sent to player Bob Fillion in regards to his equipment. Gorman's bold fountain pen signature concludes the letter. The lower part of the letter and sides are cut-off and letterhead is glued to a scrapbook page otherwise remains in nice condition.
