During the 1990-91 season while with the Los Angeles Kings, Wayne Gretzky played 23 straight games in which he had at least one assist. This remains the NHL record in this category and is without a doubt one that will stand for years to come. This puck was scooped off the ice during the 20th game of the streak after a goal by Luc Robitaille against the Vancouver Canucks on March 17, 1991. The official assists were awarded to Marty McSorley and Wayne Gretzky. This Los Angeles Kings Inglasco game puck is lightly marked on the reverse with "20th Consec. Game Assist, G-20, A-33, 99". This milestone assist puck (which for a short period of time was the record puck!) was kept by Kings bench man Harris Peet. With LOA. A piece of hockey history!
