Few artists capture the essence of sport in the manner of LeRoy Neiman. The legendary artist has captured the form of fellow Minnesota native Henry Boucha in this 1973 serigraph titled Red Goal that presents Boucha and his unmistakable headband celebrating a goal for the Detroit Red Wings. Neiman has signed in pencil this artists proof of Red Goal and Boucha whose promising career was cut short by a serious eye injury resulting froma stick-swinging attack added his autograph to the middle of the bottom margin in 2000, as indicated along with his signature. The serigraph measures approximately 19 7/8 x 24 and it is mounted in a two-tone white and blue matte and presented in a 26 x 31 silver metal frame. A truly rare and unique opportunity awaits your bid.
