This is a sensational lot for hockey board game collectors. The six hockey-themed parlor games in this collection include games from the 1920s through the 1970s. A “Hockey-ette” table hockey game by Toronto’s Amusement Games Co. and dating from the 1920s remains in its fragile original yellow covered box. Original 1935 Milton Bradley “Game of Box Hockey” features a cover with two opposing players skating along the ice. The game has its original red wood disc “puck”, though it has neither of the two wire hockey “crooks” that served as sticks. A Cadaco-Ellis box Hockey game from 1958 features its original wire goal with mesh nets in its original box. The National Hockey League Game from the 1950s made by Copp Clark features a large fold out game board, 12 “puck” tokens (6 red and 6 blue), a pair of dice and its original player cutouts. “All Metal Action Hockey Game” from the 1960s features two wood “sticks” and “pucks” for use on its metal game board and an original “Hockey Forum” 1970s box game from Quebec features the specialized original playing cards, scoresheet and game summary writing pads and game instructions.
