The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
This stunning blue dureen V-neck style uniform was worn by defenceman Jerry Rollins during his single season with the Roadrunners’ during the 1976-77 WHA campaign. The uniform was produced by Rawlings and carries their company tag in the neck, in size 48. The twill number “6” is sewn on both the back and sleeves, the chain-stitched Roadrunners team logo is sewn on front and the original name plate with two-tone tackle twill lettering is there on the back shoulders. Four stitched team repairs punctuate the game wear with numerous marks, burns and scuffs on the front crest and sleeves. This example is well-preserved and will make an excellent addition to a solid WHA game jersey collection.
