Exquisite gold ring offers Oilers’ faithful a wonderful chance at a first-rate piece, along with a chance to reminisce about the Oilers’ fourth Stanley Cup Championship in five years, acquired in the spring of 1988. Wayne Gretzky’s 13 points (3G, 10A) in Edmonton’s 4-game sweep of Boston in the finals set a record and helped the magician win his second Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Wayne totaled 43 post-season points (12G, 31A) as Edmonton eliminated the Jets, Flames and Wings to attain the finals. Four substantial cubic zircons set into a bed of 16 smaller stones and white gold are surrounded by the words “1988 Stanley Cup Champions” on the face of this stunning ring. The blue and orange enameled logo of the Edmonton Oilers is prominently featured on the left shank with “Gretzky” and “99” above and below. The opposing shank proudly lists the team’s championship seasons engraved into four raised Cups with the image of the motivational carrot below. The
interior of this majestic and striking reproduction is stamped with the “10K” marking from the manufacturer. Size 10 1/2 ring has very sharp and clear details and is in perfect condition. A beautiful ring recalling a championshipseason.
