The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
You’ll get your money’s worth on this pair of team issued Montreal Canadiens jerseys just by virtue of the number of tackle twill letters in the last names of these two players: “HOHENBERGER” and “NASREDDINE”. The white No. 56 jersey was issued to Martin Hohenberger, the Habs’ 3rd-round pick in 1995. He had one assist in nine games with Fredericton in 1997-98 and played one more season in the ECHL before returning home to play in his native Austria. Nasreddine wore this white No. 56 when he posted 33 penalty minutes in eight games with Montreal in 1998-99. The red jersey has a couple of unrepaired holes on the front of the jersey and exhibits some nice game use. Both jerseys have their original Starter neck tags, laundry and size “56-R” tags and fight straps sewn inside.
