The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Montreal Canadiens forward Randy Bucyk got a 1985-86 Stanley Cup ring from the team even though his name was not engraved on the Cup itself. The nephew of Hall of Fame left winger Johnny Bucyk, the Edmonton native had six points in 17 regular season games for the
rookie-laden Habs lineup. He appeared in two playoff games as the Canadiens beat Boston, Hartford, the New York Rangers to reach the final, before claiming their 23rd Stanley Cup with a five-game win over Calgary. Randy Bucyk wore this No. 22 jersey, which features a few nice circular team repairs on the front, for the Canadiens that season. The jersey features a faded "86 -01" born tag sewn into the inside collar and its original fight strap. A great opportunity to pick up a glorious Habs gamer from a Stanley Cup season.
