The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
“Hi, the Rocket left a couple of tickets for me in the reds.” If you were lucky enough to utter those words at the Montreal Forum box office, this is the ticket box your prized ducats were stored in until you came by to pick them up in person. This blue rectangular box has its original clear plastic door and a couple of scars on the back of the wood box from when it was removed where it was screwed into the box office wall. This intriguing lot also includes a pair of player displays, a massive 5’ x 3’ laminated photo of Vincent Damphousse and another laminated shot of Denis Savard, with the image of the Canadiens center raised in the foreground. A gorgeously framed photo of the Canadiens’ first practice at the Molson Centre completes this collection of memorabilia marking the storied franchise’s move from the temple of hockey to its new building in 1996.
