Originally selected 3rd overall by the Phoenix Coyotes at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Kyle Turris would play a total of 776 National Hockey League games during his career, wearing the colours of Phoenix, Ottawa, Nashville and Edmonton over that time. Also having represented his birth country of Canada on numerous occasions, winning gold at the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championships and silver at the 2019 IIHF World Championships, offered here, from his final season in the NHL, is this Edmonton Oilers third jersey worn by Turris during the "Battle of Alberta" against the Calgary Flames. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both "Made in Canada" and size "56" designations is affixed to the inner collar above a sewn in "Elite Promotional Marketing" label overtop of a screened on PrimeGreen designation, the logos of both the NHL and Adidas have been added over the front and reverse necklines. Decorated over the front with an Oilers team crest that that features three dimensional (3D) embroidered details, the sleeves and verso of the garment have had Turris' number "8" sewn to them in single layer orange tackle twill numerals while "Turris" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Signed by Kyle over the "8" on the reverse with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue, the jersey, worn for a single game that saw Turris log a total of 5:03 of ice time, displays no obvious signs of game-wear and remains in excellent condition throughout. Having had an Oilers team take sewn inside the jersey that denotes it as an "October 16th, 2021 - Battle of Alberta" set offering, a MeiGray tag numbered "U05115" is sewn in alongside it with the company's population report listing the jersey as a "Navy - Promotional Game 10/16/21" offering. A matching Oilers LOA will accompany the piece.
