Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Selected in the premier round by the Montreal Canadiens at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Kyle Chipchura first saw action with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL for a pair of seasons before making his debut for the Habs in 2007-08. From his lone season of wearing the “C” for the AHL club, we have a Bulldogs captain’s jersey worn by Chipchura in 2008-09, where he netted 35 points in just 51 games. Reebok labeling with a CCM “56” size tag is affixed to the collar, with AHL and Reebok crests over the reverse hem. Styled with a multi-coloured and layered Bulldogs team crest, “17” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in slanted tackle twill numerals, with parent club Canadiens team crests over each shoulder. There is also a Pepsi sponsorship patch affixed over the right breast. Sporting light game-use with a few faint marks visible, there are a few burns over the right shoulder, with a team repair along the seam on the middle left sleeve.
