Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
A product of the Regina Pats who would go on to be drafted 14th overall by the Buffalo Sabres at the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, Kevin Haller would play a total of 642 games over the course of his National Hockey League career, donning the colours of Buffalo, Montreal, Philadelphia, Hartford, Carolina, Anaheim and the New York Islanders over that time. A Stanley Cup champion with the famed bleu, blanc et rouge in 1993, offered here is this Habs jersey worn by Haller circa 1993, during either the 1992-93 Stanley Cup championship season or the following year of 1993-94. Made by CCM and sporting both size "54" and Maska Ultrafil labels affixed to the inner collar, the emblems of the both the NHL shield and CCM are embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with Montreal's famed "CH" team crest that has been administered in a layered tackle twill style, Haller's number "14" has been added over the sleeves and verso in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals. Having had "Haller" spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, it is worth noting that over the right breast is the outline of the once in place Stanley Cup Centennial patch that was in place for the 1992-93 season. Displaying light-to-moderate but clear game-wear, a pair of bullet style team repairs are seen over the left sleeve while light stick marks and board burns exist over both sleeves as well. Additionally, pilling exists on the interior as well as on the exterior in spots along with some small fabric pulls.
