Named the top goaltender at the 1996 World Junior Championships while winning gold with Team Canada, Jose Theodore was drafted by Montreal in 1994 and spent the majority of his career with the Habs, earning the Vezina and Hart Memorial trophies in 2002. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the two-time All-Star in his rookie season of 1996-97. A CCM “Goalie Style” label and size “60” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Theodore” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting light game-use with a few dark marks over the front including just above the right breast, there are also transfer marks on the lower left sleeve.
