Wearing the prestigious “C” of the Chicago Black Hawks beginning in just his second NHL season, Jonathan Toews third campaign in 2009-10 witnessed the superstar register 68 points in 76 games along with an impressive 29 postseason points – the most of his career thus far - all while leading the Windy City squad to a Stanley Cup championship. This signed stick was issued to Toews for the 2009-10 NHL season. A Warrior AK27 model, “Toews” factory graphics grace the upper shaft, with a production number and bar code affixed to the underside. The original black tape remains on the blade and white ribbed pattern on the handle, with Toews placing an attractive silver paint pen signature across the front side blade. It should be noted that due to the irregular small white ribbed pattern on the handle as opposed to Jonathan’s typical lengthy white tape job, the stick is being sold as a game-issued specimen, and could have possibly seen use in games and/or practices. The stick exhibits light to moderate game-use, with wear to the blade including the underside and a few marks to the shaft. Hailing from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
