The leading scorer in Nordiques-Avalanche franchise history, HOF center Joe Sakic wore this photo-matched Quebec alternate captain’s white knit home jersey in 1991-92. Sewn on the right breast is the NHL 75 anniversary patch worn league-wide that season, when Sakic’s 94 points led a Nords squad on the cusp of rising from the depths. All cresting, name, numbers and fleur-de-lis are sewn on, and there is evidence of removal of a captain’s “C” beneath the “A” on the left breast. Maska Ultrafil and size 52 flag tags are in the collar. It is photo-matched to Getty Images #220405 to the distinctive black marks on the lower left sleeve, and by a second included digital image to the long streaky black mark on the lower front hem and the black mark above it to the right. Comes with an LOA.
The photo-matched black marks on the sleeve are the semi-circular mark and the one below it. The fight strap is sewn inside and the NHL and CCM logos are on the right rear hem. More game wear shows in pilling inside the sleeves, and various marks on the front, back and both sleeves.
