Only the third American-born player to score 500 goals in the NHL, Jeremy Roenick spent 2 decades in the world’s greatest league, earning 9 NHL All-Star Game appearances during his tenure. Celebrating the superstar’s career, we have a number of game-worn items from the Boston native, including gloves worn during the early-2000s while with the Flyers, signed skates most likely originating from his time with Phoenix in the late-1990s along with a single elbow pad. There is also a signed stick that Jeremy used while with Chicago in the mid-1990s, along with a pair of signed and framed photos, with an example featuring Roenick with Belfour and Chelios signed by the trio, along with some interesting artwork that has also been signed by Roenick. A MeiGray COR will accompany the skates, with an LOA for the elbow pad.
The gloves are Easton models in black and white with “Roenick” embroidered onto the cuff of each, with both gloves exhibiting heavy wear. The skates are Easton Air models with intact lacing, with “97” handwritten along the underside of each. Light but definite use is exhibited, with Jeremy signing each skate along the inner side in silver, with one signature slightly smudged. The stick is also an Easton model, with the original tape in place over the blade and handle, with “Roenick” stamped along the stem of the inserted wooden blade. A nice thin black marker signature has been added over the heel section, and it displays well. Lastly, the Roenick artwork is framed to full dimensions of 15 ¾” x 17 ¾”, with Jeremy adding a beautiful dark signature along the lower right, while the Roenick/Belfour/Chelios photo shows the trio in their All-Star Game uniforms, and it’s been framed to full dimensions of 12” x 15”. Each has signed beneath his image in silver, with absolutely no issues for the signatures.
