Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Originating from the collection of long-time Flyers trainer Jim "Turk" Evers, we have a Philadelphia Flyers jersey worn by superstar Jeremy Roenick circa 2001-02, along with his Team USA equipment bag used at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The jersey has a size “56” label along the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with a gorgeous Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the black V-neck has been embellished with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. The bag was made by Varsity in US colours, with heat-pressed USA Hockey logos over each side. There is also a name card inserted, with a Hockey USA logo and “97 Roenick”. COAs will accompany each item.
The jersey has a few marks and burns over each sleeve, with additional burns near the team crest. There is also a spot of red paint transfer over the right elbow. The bag feature’s a working zipper with moderate wear present, with absolutely no rips or tears.
