Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
A Rendez-Vous 87 patch and solid game wear enhance Jason Lafreniere’s 1986-87 Quebec Nordiques game-worn rookie season jersey. The patch is sewn on the right shoulder this home gamer worn by Lafreniere, who scored 13 goals and 28 points in 56 games in his NHL debut with the Nords. Typical of Nordiques gamers of the era, there is a little bit of vinyl loss to the heat-screened blue numbers, fleur de lys, and surname letters on the nameplate, mostly to the edges, though hardly any cracking to report. The CCM logo is embroidered on the right rear tail and black marks are found all over the front tail and both sleeves, with a bit more on the rear tail and upper back. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
The Nordiques crest sewn on the front is red, white and blue multi-twill. There is some discoloration to the heat-screened blue vinyl “5” on the right sleeve.
