Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Concluding his HOF career as the highest scoring European-born-and-trained player in NHL history, Jari Kurri was a member of five Stanley Cup championship squads and represented his native Finland at every international level. This Edmonton Oilers alternate captain’s jersey has been signed by the 1985 Lady Byng winner. Produced in Indonesia, a Fanatics tag with “L” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a second Fanatics label gracing the reverse hem. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest, Jari’s #17 is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Kurri” across the nameplate in single white twill. Signing the reverse “7” in blue marker, the signature has bled quite heavily into the background material. Point-of-sale tags are also still attached to the left cuff. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
