Finishing his NHL career having won over half of his game’s played in the league, Swedish born netminder Henrik Lundqvist sits atop the table as the winningest goaltender in New York Rangers history having registered 459 wins with the Blueshirts. An Olympic gold medalist in 2006 who was also named Sweden's Goaltender of the Year in three (3) straight seasons between 2003 and 2005 while playing with the Frolunda Indians of the Swedish Elite League, "Hank" would also take home the Vezina Trophy in 2012, cementing his status as one of the NHL's best goalies. Offered here, and hailing from a season in which Lundqvist posted a record of 37-24-10 with a .912 save percentage and 10 shutouts in 72 games played, is this glove used by Lundqvist during the 2007-08 campaign. A TPS Response R8 model mitt in New York's red, white and blue colours, Lundqvist's personal crown logo is sewn on over the backside of the wrist while brand and model identifiers are embroidered into the from and backside of the wrist/cuff as well. Featuring a skate lace pocket, the glove shows heavy game-use throughout via things such as numerous puck marks, blue and red coloured transfer marks, red coloured dye and paint transfers from Lundqvist's posts, material fraying at the corner of the palm and edges, a laced team repair to the inside edge, sweat staining and unrepaired cuts in the palm at the middle and bottom portion of the hand. Accompanied by a MeiGray LOA and COR, the glove has been photo-matched to numerous pictures taken during the season including Getty Image #77500423 (October 18th, 2007 vs Atlanta) to puck marks over the "P" in "TPS", Getty Image #78113633 (November 21st, 2007 vs Tampa Bay) to numerous puck marks in the palm and over the wrist, Getty Image #78881502 (January 10th, 2008 vs Philadelphia) to numerous puck marks over the palm and wrist as well as to the unrepaired cut in the palm and finally, Getty Image #79726089 (February 3rd, 2008 vs Montreal) to numerous puck marks over the palm and wrist as well as to the unrepaired cut plus material fraying/scuffing in the palm.
