This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2020
Sharing his famous brother’s cognomen with the added prefix to illustrate his diminutive stature, the “Pocket Rocket” Henri Richard spent two glorious decades in a Habs sweater, captaining the squad from 1971 until his retirement in 1975. Richard would take part in nine NHL All-Star Games throughout his career, with the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy won in 1974. This Canadiens captain’s jersey has been signed by the deceased legend. An Adidas model with “52” sizing along the collar band, a tackle twill team crest and numbers have been utilized, with Richard signing within the reverse “1” in blue sharpie, with the signature displaying well. Point-of-sale tags are still attached to the jersey, with just a new frame needed for display. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
