This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
This dazzling time piece was produced in limited numbers (1924) in conjunction with the closing of the Montreal Forum and represents the careers of the three most beloved players in the history of the Montreal Canadiens. The face includes an image of the storied Forum, headshots of Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau and Guy Lafleur and their facsimile autographs, while the back lists their career goal totals beneath their facsimile signatures. Called "The Montreal Classic", the watch features a case and bracelet which are ten micron 18K gold-plated solid stainless steel with a Swiss quartz movement. The wonderful watch (numbered 958/1924) has never been worn and comes in its original stylish presentation box, along with a certificate describing its history. Originally in Guy Lafleur’s collection, the watch then belonged to Jean Beliveau. A signed LOA from Lafleur will accompany, as well as an LOA from Jean with a facsimile signature.
