With Guy Lafleur at the peak of his game, and the defensive Big Three and Ken Dryden in goal, the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens are widely considered the best team of all-time. The Habs lost once at the Forum while going 60-8-12 for an NHL-record 132 points. Then they then won 12 of 14 playoff games, sweeping the Bruins in the final to win their 20th Stanley Cup. Offered here, we present this Guy Lafleur 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Champions 10K gold salesman's sample ring. Measuring as a size 10 1/2 with an approximate weight of 33 grams, Montreal's famed "CH" logo is seen over the tableau in zirconias while "NHL Champions" encircles the bezel in slanted letters. Sporting "1977" in raised numerals at the top of the right shank along with "Lafleur" above that, an image of the Stanley Cup with "Coupe Stanley Cup" engraved into it is present as well, extending down towards the band. On the left shank, Club De Hockey Canadien” and “Champions Est-East" is observed, with "60-8-12" below, reflecting the team's regular season mark that gave the Canadiens an amazing 132 points for the season, a league record that still stands in place. Stamped with "Jostens 14K" on the inside of the band which also sports a "10K" engraving, the ring shows wear from use via scratches to the inner and outer band plus shanks as well as a small number of dings/small gouges to the edges in areas.
