Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Currently an associate host on Fox Sports Prime Ticket for Anaheim Ducks home games, netminder Guy Hebert played in parts of 11 seasons in the NHL, with the bulk of his time spent in Anaheim. We have a signed stick used by the NY native from circa-1994-95, along with pads worn circa 1996-97. A Louisville TPS model, “Hebert” appears stamped-on over the handle, with the original tape present over the blade, handle and knob. Hebert has signed across the front side of the blade over the heel section in black marker, and the signature displays well. The pads are Heaton Pro models in Ducks colours, with leather “Custom Made for Guy Hebert” patches affixed to the outside section of each.
Great use is shown on the stick, with numerous puck marks across the front side of the blade along with chips/dings to the top of the blade and on the shaft. The pads show thorough use as well, with heavy wear/rubbing to the leather in spots, especially along edges. There is also some minor discolouration to the interiors from prolonged use.
