Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A St. Louis Blues draft choice in 1987, netminder Guy Hebert spent the majority of his NHL career with Anaheim, tending the net of the Ducks for 8 seasons. We have a Ducks jersey worn by the NY native in 1998-99 during the playoffs. Nike and Center Ice labeling sits along the collar, with embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the attractive V-neck has been embellished with triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, along with matching alternate patches over each shoulder. The team patch resides just above the inside hem, and it denotes this garment as a “1999 Playoffs” example. Game-wear on the desirable jersey includes just a few fabric pulls in spots along with a mark over the team crest, with some pilling over the left sleeve. An LOA from the Ducks will accompany, but it mentions the jersey as being a “Home Set 2” example, so it possibly not the original LOA.
